Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations

The Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations (UK) is a non-political umbrella organisation representing the majority of the British Turkish Cypriot NGOs based throughout the UK. It serves to empower the British Turkish Cypriot community through civic engagement, and to support strong UK-Turkish Cypriot relations through education and advocacy. Established on 8th March 1983, CTCA (UK) is the largest, democratically elected British Turkish Cypriot membership organisation in the United Kingdom.

To act as an umbrella organisation for those associations and charities who share our Aims and Objectives, which are:

  • To provide moral and financial support to those in need irrespective of race, religion, creed, age or gender.
  • To provide emergency supplies in times of natural disasters.
  • To campaign and lobby for human rights irrespective of race.
  • To promote education, health awareness, employment and community development, through seminars, conferences and the internet irrespective of age, gender or disability.
  • To assist members to organise cultural and sporting events.
  • To work and cooperate with other charities, voluntary bodies and organisations with similar aims.
  • To provide training courses for the benefit of members.
